Owner Lindsey Shaklee CPDT-KA has 25+ years of experience working with animals. But even more important, Lindsey loves helping people and dogs learn to be partners and to have fun together! Her experience ranges from shelter work, teaching obedience and family dog classes, training Search and Rescue and medical alert and scent detection dogs, as well as working with and raising service dogs. She has competed in Obedience, Rally and k9 Nosework. She's traveled the country hiking and camping with her family and dogs. Her dogs love adventure just as much as she does and her current dog is a trained wildlife detection dog.

Lindsey's educational background includes a degree in psychology from Colorado State University and a Masters in Conservation Biology from Miami University. Lindsey is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a Certified Family Dog Mediator. She is also a Wildlife rehabilitation volunteer.

Lindsey's training philosophy is based on building a strong relationship between the dog and their human through positive reinforcement, adventure and partnership.
